Look like this.
You have a DVD Recorder, but you dislike the quality, when you upload on YouTube.
And you can't upload it on YouTube, because it's in .VOB format.
In this tutorial, we learn more.
First, set your DVD Recorder on XP (best quality, worse recording limit: 1 hour and 2 minutes).
If you wish to make a very long video, I would recommend MLP (worse quality, best recording limit: 11 hours and 3 minutes), so your file size isn't too big.

After recording, put in your DVD+RW in your desktop/laptop.
In Linux, you'll not see anything.
No problem at all!

Here we go, Terminal!

Typ in sudo nautilus and press enter.
Typ in your password and press enter.

Go to cdrom0 and copy VTS_01_1.VOB.

Paste it in a random folder in /home/yourname.

Open Avidemux (GTK+), if you already installed it.

Open your .VOB file.

Now, follow the pink instructions, and do the same.

Save it as name.flv.

And now, you can upload it on YouTube, it is small in file size, and at the same time, it is in High Quality! :D
You have learned, Quality can be high and File Size can be low at the same time.
And I also thank MonkeyCrossing2 and SwedeWithAnAccent (Rami), for some reason.
