MKDS Community Hack

SGC Yellow	After some talking, we've decided to make an MKDS Community Hack. Now, this won't be a huge 32 track based hack, instead it'll be an 8 track hack featuring only 2 Cups. Anyone on the forum can contribute to this, we'll accept Custom Tracks, Karts, Characters, Sprites, Music, and more. If you would like to contribute the only rule is that you must be registered as a member here on DSHack. Now as for the rules for the content that will be accepted, it's best if you give us something, that isn't already on the Hack Store. Plus, it must be of decent quality, we will choose from the best submissions. If you want to submit something, simply post about it in this thread, with a screenshot, or video, and send me the file(s) via a PM. The dead line is on April 5th 2017, good luck! SGC Yellow	That would work more as a texture. But, I don't think Shrek will be in this, unless somebody submits a different version of him, and we won't accept anything ripped from Ermii Kart.

SGC Yellow	They must be completely finished. Custom Characters do not require animations, however. CTs don't require custom bottom screen maps, either.

Platinatic	I really like this idea, especially because i'll probably never make a hack on my own. Plus, this idea is really motivating, it's like some kind of deadline! What i can help with: -I can create samples for the soundfonts (anything, even realistic orchestral stuff), and i can help with music and compostion in general (i study it). -I can finish my close to done first basic CT (the basic stuff works, only the nkm, music, course picture and map is left to do). -I have a model of a SMW Skybox lying around that could be used if someone needs it. It's not animated though, but i could do that if I found out how to do texture/model animations.

I really like this idea, especially because i'll probably never make a hack on my own. Plus, this idea is really motivating, it's like some kind of deadline!

What i can help with:

-I can create samples for the soundfonts (anything, even realistic orchestral stuff), and i can help with music and compostion in general (i study it).

-I can finish my close to done first basic CT (the basic stuff works, only the nkm, music, course picture and map is left to do).

-I have a model of a SMW Skybox lying around that could be used if someone needs it. It's not animated though, but i could do that if I found out how to do texture/model animations.

Yes, it would be nice if you could make some music, though we'll just use soundfont already in MKDS.

SGC Yellow	Are we allowed to submit more than one track, kart, texture hack, etc for the hack? Yes, if you wish. please be aware that if you submit more than 1 CT, the second, or 3rd CT may be replaced by another submission, if there is not enough room.

SGC Yellow	Just to make sure people are aware, please note that if you want to contribute to this, you must send the content to me, though a PM. Because, anything already out in the public, like if it's on the Hack Store, has a lower chance of being accepted. We also need a title screen, and menu backgrounds, if anyone is up to that task.

NewSuperWario2	I'll try to make something. However, 2 questions: Do u need someone to make the translations? And, you know how to make the menu for 2 cups instead of 8?

SGC Yellow	For translations, probably not. Yes, the Menu only allows you to select 2 Cups, instead of 4, or 8.

SGC Yellow	Well everybody, consider this canceled, nobody was interested enough to contribute anything at all. There was slight interest, but it was all talk, and no action.
