opa334 Hey, I have some issues (I think?) with the .obj importer in KMP Expander. When I open up my obj, the window pops up, but I'm unsure what exactly is supposed to happen... Like I close the window, but it changes absolutly nothing on the display. The obj works fine for any other purpose. Is there any key I need to press to apply the settings I chose in the importer or something?

opa334 There is a modified version of Ohana3ds that you can use to replace the mipmaps. Found it some time ago on GBATemp: http://www14.zippyshare.com/v/U0snle4R/file.html (Start Ohana3ds, not the rebirth version) Choose Textures on the left and then open the bcmdl.

opa334 Hey, I'm currently trying to port (Wii) DK Summit to MK7. I've deleted everything you are not supposed to touch and created new materials for each number of the KCL, so I could make everything like in the original. Now, if I'm creating the kcl in efe and importing it into the game, it just caused a white screen. Here is my .obj of the KCL: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mzrm5xsebbypa59/Gds_DKPass_KCL.zip?dl=0
Is it just not working this way, or is there something I've messed up? Everything overlaps with the original model.

opa334 The cannon is not my main problem, so if I can't make one, I could problably just get around that by making an invisible road or something. No, I don't have an edited the KMP, as that's what I'm planning on doing next. If I just replace the KCL with the normal one, everything runs fine. I will try some other KCLs for now.

There is no way to get a custom KCL working on the Gds_DKPass slot at all, I just replaced the KCL of Browsers Castle to test and everything works... Does anyone know what to do now? It seems that there is some necessary part in the KCL of Gds_DKPass which is needed to load it up without crashing.

Uhm, I just made the weirdest discovery ever... There is no way to get a custom KCL working on the Gds_DKPass slot at all, I just replaced the KCL of Browsers Castle to test and everything works... Does anyone know what to do now? It seems that there is some necessary part in the KCL of Gds_DKPass which is needed to load it up without crashing.


The DK Pass slot is known for crashing no matter how you may edit it. If you want "icy" effects in your course its recommended that you replace Rosalina's Ice World.


That's what I did first, had everything working like the kmp and stuff and then tried to port it. Oh well, just gonna do it on rosalinas ice planet again.

You don't have to re-do your CT. You can simply port it to another slot.
