Thread: New MKDS Kiosk Demo Debug Menu Discovery

User 619	It all started when I was in the debug menu pressing random buttons, and then I was taken straight to the title screen. I think there's something in there that takes you to different menus. But the question is, how do we trigger it again? I will keep this thread updated if I find a way to do this again. Edit: The shoulder buttons do something. I went to a random part of the debug menu and now the shoulder buttons do stuff. I don't know where I am but I will keep this updated still. Edit 2: Shoulder buttons change the course. Nothing special and is unrelated to the menu thing, but nevertheless a new discovery. Edit 3: Up and down on the D-pad do something for the second part of the Grand Prix menu Edit 4: Up and down also do stuff on the third part of the menu. Messing around with it gives me extremely glitchy camera angles. This does something. Screenshots coming soon Edit 5: Sorry about that, guys. User 619	Not to disappoint you, but this is all stuff we already knew about, everything you posted about there was discovered years ago. Nice try though, but there's literally nothing left in the beta to find, it's been clean looked through hundreds if not thousands of times. We know. Sorry. I updated the post. Please have a look.

User 619	WarioWare D.I.Y. lets you create your own microgames within the game, which are actually in the same file format as the files for microgames inside of the ROM itself. I tested this by taking 9-Volt's Boss Stage, Blooper, and adding in the text "ROM Hack Test!!" using a tool called MIOEdit. Then, with some extra work I won't get into in this post, I overwritten Mona's boss microgame with the modified version of 9-Volt's boss microgame... and it worked! This means that WarioWare D.I.Y. ROM Hacks are indeed possible to make. The comics and music are in the same format, so it should be a piece of cake to inject those into the ROM as well, but I haven't tested it yet. Collab So I'm going to be making a ROM Hack of D.I.Y. called WarioWare Fan Favorites, where you get to make the microgames. If you make a microgame, or if you made one a long time ago and want to showcase it in Fan Favorites, then please read the rules, and once you're done reading them, read the directions so you can find out how to send me the microgame. User 619	Just one question: why did you make screenshots of text? Wouldn't it be much easier (and more mobile-friendly) to just copy/paste the text instead? (2 questions.) First of all, please use the discussion thread linked in the post instead of talking here. Second, it wouldn't let me. When I tried to space it out by putting an extra line between each one, it puts them all on the same line so I had to screenshot them from Notepad. Edit: Fixed it. The Preview function was causing issues and when I didn't use it, it let me make the lists just fine.

First of all, please use the discussion thread linked in the post instead of talking here. Second, it wouldn't let me. When I tried to space it out by putting an extra line between each one, it puts them all on the same line so I had to screenshot them from Notepad.
