So....I swapped shy guy and ROB's model and got problem (Solved!)

User 694	So I swapped Shy guy and ROB's model because....I personally didn't liked ROB being in Mario Kart DS the problem is the when I'm playing as shy guy, he's just white there's no texture. Can someone tell me how to fix this? Or is there actually the way to switching the character's place? For example....what was it called Mario kart 0? (not sure if that's correct name of that rom hack) had Shy guy instead of Peach If there's a way I want to know about it... Sorry if I have some spelling errors or something like that my English is really bad :(

SGC Yellow	This is likely because you didn't swap the texture data, because in MKDS textures, and models are not in the same files, in most cases. NSBTX = Textures. NSBMD = Models. I should also note that in the US, and EU versions of MKDS, there's special programming for ROB, and his karts that swaps their palettes, so the textures will likely break because of his hard coded palette in those two regions of the game.

This is likely because you didn't swap the texture data, because in MKDS textures, and models are not in the same files, in most cases.
NSBTX = Textures. NSBMD = Models.

I should also note that in the US, and EU versions of MKDS, there's special programming for ROB, and his karts that swaps their palettes, so the textures will likely break because of his hard coded palette in those two regions of the game.

User 694	Oh thanks! :) I pretty sure I swapped both NSBTX files and NSBMD files but Ok I will try again on other characters Didn't know ROB had special programming

ROB's special programming does not exist in that version of the game, so you're fine there.
