Thread: So....I swapped shy guy and ROB's model and got problem (Solved!)

So I swapped Shy guy and ROB's model because....I personally didn't liked ROB being in Mario Kart DS the problem is the when I'm playing as shy guy, he's just white there's no texture. Can someone tell me how to fix this? Or is there actually the way to switching the character's place? For example....what was it called Mario kart 0? (not sure if that's correct name of that rom hack) had Shy guy instead of Peach If there's a way I want to know about it... Sorry if I have some spelling errors or something like that my English is really bad :( |

Oh thanks! :) I pretty sure I swapped both NSBTX files and NSBMD files but Ok I will try again on other characters Didn't know ROB had special programming |

I looked all the files like Kartmodelmain, KartmodelmainA, KartmodelmainB, Sub etc. But I can't find the shy guy's standard kart model and texture. It should be named like "Kart_HH_a" right? |

I was looking at the tcrf, and found this icons for shy guy in other palette https://tcrf.net/File:MKDS-Shy_Guy_Colors.png Where or how can I find them? Also, how can I get textures(NSBTX file) for Shy guy but differebt palette Last question, how can I change Character's name? (For example change Mario to Ice mario) Sorry for asking a lot. |

Yeah I was talking about big Orange name on character select menu. And...I guess it's something to do with HH_color.NCLR then. Oh yeah, and the link was pictures of the different palette shy guy's icons. |
